Old Caves Winery has a simple philosophy about wine - ""A good wine is one that you can drink and enjoy"". Situated on the New England Highway, just north of Stanthorpe, Old Caves specialise in producing ""everyday"" wines, non-vintage styles that are inexpensive enough for people to enjoy on a regular basis. Your hosts at Thunderbolt Farm, Keith and Claudia Beverley, welcome their guests with warm country hospitality. The wines at the cellar door are available for tasting and purchase. With our estate grown grapes we produce a range of white and red wines (dry to fruity) plus fortified delights. Open every day, 10am - 5pm except Wednesday.

If you are looking for premium-quality, single-vineyard, award-winning wines and a charming holiday cottage set amongst hand-tended vineyards and beautiful grantite boulders then you have come to the right place! We are a small family-run vineyard (appoximately three hectares of vines) perched high on a ridge near Ballandean in the Granite Belt - Queenslands premier wine district. Our focus is on high quality wines produced using sustainable agricultural practices. Our vineyard is at an altitude of 900m, we have low yields (usually less than 4 tonnes per hectare), we prune by hand, we harvest by hand, we do not irrigate and instead spread mulch under vines.

A family owned boutique winery, Jester Hill Wines (Mt Stirling Road, Glen Aplin) is open from 9am to 5pm daily and has a very modern cellar door with plenty of parking for cars, coaches and caravans. The Joker’s Café offers great coffee/tea and cake daily and the Joker’s Restaurant is open during the high season (Late autumn to early spring) for superb a-la-carte dining. Work by local artists is on display and available for sale. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff makes a visit to Jester Hill both entertaining and educational.

Kominos Wines grows, makes and bottles Stanthorpe wine on the high altitude Granite Belt (near Stanthorpe). We attribute our quality and success to our hands on contact with all facets of the production process, and of course our love of wine. Mason Wines is a family owned wine business, situated in the Granite Belt, dedicated to producing a wine of which Queensland can be proud. Our aim is to develop quality wines with distinct regional characteristics. Cellar Door & Cafe open 9 - 5 Tuesday through Saturday. 9 - 4 on Sunday. Cellar Door Café is closed on Mondays. Lunch is served Tuesday - Sunday between 11.30 and 2.30.

Mountview Wines is set amongst pine trees, the red cedar barn winery enjoys spectacular views and stands on the site of the original Mountview vineyards established in 1921. Visitors entering the wine tasting room are cosseted amidst a range of wine making equipment and oak barrels, providing an authentic winery experience.
